The Bold Man team has just recently got back from San Diego after Carnival’s Humor for Heroes event (read more about that here!) and we’re already missing the sunny weather, lovely sights, and delicious food of the city. While we sit here reminiscing on all the fun times we had, we figured we’d clue you in on some of the best spots to dine and drink in the one-of-a-kind San Diego (cause the only thing better than surf’s up is chowing down, right?).
Serving up the most important meal of the day to the good people of San Diego, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu at the Breakfast Republic. Before you go cruising around San Diego, you gotta grab a bite! Our advice though? Order the pancake flight and sample three of the many delicious flavors available at the Republic. You can thank us later!
Every vacation is all about firsts, so how about visiting the first-ever official brewery/winery/fine restaurant in San Diego? You can go by for some fine dining in the nighttime, but we recommend cheers-ing some cans and glasses as you try their world class beers and wines. Cheers, San Diego!
After a day at the beach, nothing will satisfy your hunger quite like the tacos at Galaxy Taco. Whether your tacos are filled with chicken tinga, barbacoa short rib, or grilled avocado, you truly can’t go wrong here. So have a seat, grab a margarita, and get ready for taco heaven.
When dinner stomach rumbles roll around, make your way over to Little Italy for a taste of what San Diego’s buzzing gastronomic neighborhood has to offer. Our top food recommendation? The roasted branzino with lemon herb stuffing and olive-chili tapenade. The dish is to die for.
When you’re an east coast resident, you can’t help but feel like you’re missing out on some truly magical late night traditions over at the In & Out Burger. You can scour San Diego for all the fine dining options and way-out-there cuisine there is, but at the end of the day nothing compares to a delicious In & Out Double-Double and fries. Don’t miss out on this west coast treasure that really does live up to the hype.
