What happens when you mix one rambunctious yet professional host a lively makeup artist, five bold (see what I did there?) and driven Bold Man and the Sea Media team members, one booming-voiced director, and a fun-loving client? You get a shoot powered by Mexican coffee and zany antics. Let’s get down to business. 😉
Cozumel was our home for five robust shooting days and let me tell you, this shoot was awesome!
We laughed, we skippered a ship (well, we spun a ship wheel around, which in our book is just like sailing), and we shot (and tasted!) some delicious libations with Carnival’s mixologists, plus a whole lot more.
Our director, Peter Gonzalez, a.k.a., The Bold Man and the Sea, worked closely with the team and our host, Eversen Bevelle, to bring Carnival’s newest onboard series to life! We watched as Eversen tried his hand at some, well, rather interesting jobs. We also got the opportunity to go behind the scenes and explore areas of the ship we’ve never been able to check out before!
Aside from the shooting, laughing, sailing, drink-making, and mani-pedi fun, we were fortunate enough to explore the island of Cozumel on our last day. We ended up at a family-run tequila bar and restaurant called La Mission, located inside a repurposed monastery. After an unforgettable tequila tasting (well, maybe it was slightly forgettable), we ate a delicious meal followed by — wait for it…..sexy coffee!
Sexy coffee, a flaming pot of coffee with vanilla ice cream and Kahlua, was a delicious way to finish off a great week!
That was cool. But, as always, on to the next one…
